Scott is just getting started as the new owner of Doc's garage. He has integrity, a wealth of good experience, and inspires confidence. Although we have only taken our cars to him a few times so far, I hope he will replace the local Chevy dealer as our primary car mechanic.

I brought my 1988 S10 pickup in for Air Conditioning work. Scott evaluated the A/C, then clearly explained the options I had, the price for each option, and his recommendation. The work was done quickly and efficiently. The final price was what he had initially quoted. Overall, this was a very good experience.

I took a vehicle to Doc's garage a long time ago and was happy then. Moved away and returned, but didn't think about the place. After reading the posts on here I decided to revisit the shop since our 2001 Dodge Intrepid needed a tune up and my non mechanical husband had no idea where to turn to for reasonable work...we did not want a dealership turning a basic "tune up" into a money making event for themselves.(having just experienced this several months ago on another vehicle) :-). So the overall experience with leaving a car, getting the work done, picking it up, paying for it (without sticker shock)was very satisfactory at Doc's. Nothing has changed. It's still a little hole in the wall place with a friendly, capable guy who will bend over backwards to fix the problem. He will also tell you when there is no problem and where NOT to spend your money. Highly recommended.
