This is long overdue: I have the highest regard for Scott Clark's Toyota, formerly of Charlotte, now moved into a larger facility nearby in Stallings. When I bought my 2001 Prius May 31, 2007, from Carmax in Raleigh NC, I took it, at just under 60K miles, to Scott Clark's for a full check- up. Long story short, after negotiating with Carmax, they brought it up to date on scheduled maintenance, then couldn't restart it, killed the hybrid battery, and took nearly a month to get it back to me. They were up front about how they drained the battery, but it was Toyota in Atlanta's fault for not providing the hybrid battery charger quickly enough. At the end, my Prius had a new auxilliary battery, new injectors, a reconditioned hybrid battery and other new parts, my transportation was covered by a free loaner, and I was not charged anything for repairs or parts. If you can make it there, Scott Clark's is the best. Scott Keith, my favorite service rep, is an old family friend there now, since I married the love of my life who bought her Corolla from him years ago. Mike Allen is the shop manager and knows it ALL. They were even tolerant of my constant nosiness, providing me with OBD readouts and the like, until they finished battling with Atlanta. Scott Clark's will do you right!
