My mother had raved about this shop for over a year before I gave them a try. I had been happy with the local Chevrolet dealership when they worked on my 1990 Chevrolet Lumina a couple of times - reasonable prices, quality work, and even driving me home once. I sold the Lumina and bought a 1983 Chevrolet Caprice. I took it to the dealership a couple of times for maintenance items, and didn't have a problem until they wanted over $1,500 for a new carburetor to possibly correct engine run-on and rich fuel/air mixture. I refused and the car stopped running within three weeks in my driveway. I started driving a Buick and took it to Doug at Bill's BP for maintenance. After a year, the Buick began having recurring problems that stranded us (the previous owner had run it into the ground). I had the Caprice towed to Bill's BP, and Doug got it running (after sitting a year) for $150. The car is still running well a year and a half later. Now we primarily rely on the staff at Bill's BP to keep that car and our '93 S-10 Blazer on the road. We are biased customers because for over two years we have experienced the expertise, honesty, and hospitality that could make a raving fan out of most anyone. Take your car to Bill's BP for expert troubleshooting, quality repairs, and low pricing. It is a no frills shop, but if you want an accurate diagnoses and don't have money to burn, it is the place to go when your vehicle gives you trouble.
