For several years I was in charge of a small fleet of Escapes and Blazers used as news cars for the local TV station. Larry and Mike at George Street Service kept these high-mileage cars running well. They did countless oil changes and many sets of tires as well as all kinds of other repairs. I had other choices of shops to use, but they were always the friendliest, most competent, least expensive and honest. I took my personal cars there too. If you want air conditioning and Muzak while you wait on your repair, this is NOT the place for you. If your car dies and you need it fixed well and at a reasonable cost, this IS the place for you. If they can, they will repair the broken part instead of just tossing it and ordering a new one from the dealer. They are in high demand; their lot is full of cars every day, yet they seem to give everyone attention. They're next to the train tracks and bus station, but don't let that scare you. Highly recommended.
