I heard about Hodge's garage through a friend. I had originally taken my Volvo to a Volvo dealer and was quoted $1000 for control arm repairs. Wayne Hodge, the owner of Hodge's garage, quoted me a price of $590.00 for the same job. He broke down the cost of each part for me and told me exactly how much I need to pay before the work was initiated. Once the work was completed, there were no surprises and they did a great job on the repair. On a side note, I should mention that I also needed an alignment after the control arm replacement. Although they don't do alignments, they were willing to take the car to another shop for me to have the alignment done. They had the control arms replaced and the alignment done in one afternoon and I was on my way. I also found out that Wayne Hodge is a certified Audi mechanic and worked at a Mitsubuishi dealer. So he certainly knows imports as well as domestics. Based on my experience, I feel comfortable in taking both our Volvo and our VW Passat to Wayne in the future for maintenance and repair.

They did great work on my 1996 Volvo 960 twice and were always helpful and told me in detail everything that was wrong with my car. Wayne told me what the price would be before he worked on my car. He is a nice guy too!

After I got my first car I began looking for a good mechanic in town. When I found Hodge Garage I knew I could rest happy- I trust them completely and I know they'll work fast and won't charge me for anything I don't need. They take the time to explain what needs to be done and itemize everything so you can see it. Wayne and Mike are great!

I've taken several cars to the Hodge Garage for both routine maintenance and catastrophic failures. I've never been unsatisfied. Besides being a very competent mechanic, Wayne is extremely honest. Hands down the best mechanic I've ever gone to.

I found Hodge Garage on the forum a few days ago because my wife's car had overheated. I had just been to the dealership and they quoted me 1600 for a timing belt, water pump, thermostat, and a fan. Nothing the dealership said sat right with me so I looked locally. I called up Hodge's and it took a while to get a quote but here's why. The owner was personally driving a customer home. Hodge Garage had my car fixed in less than a day and saved over 900 dollars. They didn't end up replacing the fan and when I arrived to pick up my car, Wayne showed me the broken part and explained to me what had gone wrong. Great Customer Service. Awesome.

Wayne Hodge is the best. I put over 25,000 miles a year on my car, and he worked on it for about 3 years. I moved to New York City a year ago, and when I found out that I needed a new clutch, I drove the 1100 mile round trip specifically to have him do it. The money I saved by having him do it there, instead of having it done in NY, paid for the trip and then some.

We purchased a transmission at a junk yard with the intention of replacing it ourselves. But, after reading comments from satisfied customers, we decided to take our 1999 Audi A4 to Hodge Garage & have Wayne install the transmission. We are very pleased with the work that Wayne did. He charged a fair price for the transmission work & he also reconnected a hose on the secondary air pump that another mechanic told us we would need to replace. I will definitely continue to use Hodge Garage for all of our car repairs!
