My husband and I have been taking our cars to J&J's for over 10 years, I cannot recommend them highly enough. They are honest, personable, patient, and very knowledgeable. As a woman, I could not feel more comfortable in their shop - I have never been treated any differently than my husband - and they take the time to explain anything and everything i need. Their pricing is not the rock-bottom option, but I am willing to pay a little more for excellent and honest service and know that it's going to be done right the first time. I trust them 100% and have over 10 years and 4 cars experitence with them!

This review is based on my first and so-far only experience with Johnson and Johnson. I asked J and J to provide an estimate on my 21 year old Toyota pickup, which had a loud "scronk" in the RF suspension. I also asked them to look over the rest of the truck, as it had been several years since the last visit to a mechanic. J and J correctly diagnosed the scronk as coming from worn out bushings in the upper/lower control arm and provided an estimate for repair. They told me they had checked all ball joints, tie-rods, etc. All OK. They reported finding the LF wheel bearings loose, both rear brake cylinders leaking, all four shocks leaking, along with a few less critical items. They also identified the source of two minor oil leaks and provided estimates for fixing those. They provided a detailed prioritized written estimate with each issue, separately priced. They recommended what could and could not wait until later. The cost for the estimate was $42. I chose to have the suspension, shocks, and brakes repaired at this time. I am very happy with the results. I feel the prices were reasonable, and the work was excellent. The truck was ready when promised. Repairing the bushings disturbed the alignment, and front end alignments on this truck usually leave the steering wheel several inches off center (I'd told them this when I dropped it off). After repair, the wheel was correctly centered, the truck tracks correctly on the road, and, of course, the scronk is gone. About a week after the repairs were complete, I received a post card, thanking me for my patronage and asking me to contact them if I was in any way dissatisfied. The shop is in a good neighborhood, off the "main" street, on a well-traveled secondary road, and has fenced area for overnight storage. I felt safe leaving the truck there. Based on my experiences, I would recommend this shop without reservation. I intend to take my future repair business to them.

Over the past 10 years or so, my wife and I have taken them a Lexus LS430, a Nissan Pathfinder, an Acura TL-Type S, a BMW 740il, and a Honda Pilot. In each instance, they diagnosed the problem, called with an explanation before any work was done, gave a firm time-to-completion, and (most valuable to me) told us what needed to be fixed right away and what could wait. Having that flexibility to postpone some of the repairs is a big help. Some of the repairs that the dealer had recommended turned out to be altogether wrong! I have complete confidence in their ability to do quality work and I trust them implicitly. I would recommend them without any reservations at all.
