I HAVE AN EARLY MODLE OLDS AND HAVE HAD NUMERUOS EXHAUST AND BRAKE PROBLEMS NOT TO MINCHION OTHER THINGS. I USE TO GO TO A LOCAL SHOP FOR REPAIRS, BUT EVERYTIME I WENT THERE IT WAS ALWAYS SOMETHING! WHEN I FINALLY GOT FEED UP WITH THEM I WENT TO MIDAS. THEY EXPLAINED THE PROBLEM GAVE ME SOME OPTIONS AND A LIFETIME WARRANTY ON MY MUFFLER. THAT WAS ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO AND WHEN THE MUFFLER WENT OUT THIS TIME I WAS NOT CHARGED ANYTHING TO REPLACE IT. NO QUESTIONS ASKED. I VISIT THIS SHOP REGUARLY NOW FOR OIL CHANGES AND THAT KIND OF STUFF AND EVEN IF ITS COVERED BY MY WARRANTY IM TREATED WITH THE SAME KIND OF RESPECT. FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND THEY OFFER LOTS OF OTHER REPAIRS AND STAND BEHIND ANY WORK THEY DO.

Midas did both my muffler and brake work on separate occasions. The muffler was very reasonably priced. But, the brake work (which by the admission of the shop owners, Sharron and Jim, is the majority of their work) was overpriced, mainly due to the fact that they wanted to use dealer parts from the Chevy dealership across the street. The owners were accomodating to my situation (I'm a graduate student with almost no income) and provided a considerable discount on labor and allowed me to provide parts. All-in-all, they performed very timely, thorough, and professional work. Although, I would suggest bringing your own master cylinder!
