My daughter moved from NH to NC at the beginning of June. She drives a 1992 Honda Civic. I have been in the automotive industry for over 30 years in New England. Her car developed a problem wth the A/C, working very intermittently and her muffler blew shortly after her arrival in NC. During a short visit I made July I looked through the phone book for a garage that might help her. After a call to the local Honda dealer down there I called Cumberland Motor Works and spoke to Skip. I explained my daughters situation and Skip and I discussed possible scenarios. She left the car with them, they diagnosed the problem, with an estimate for repairs. They had to order a couple of parts and several days later she picked up the car with both the A/C and exhaust problems fixed and the bill came in at $150.00 less than the high side of the estimate. It's comforting to know there are still people who will treat you fairly and honestly and charge reasonable prices!
