Before my daughter took her Buick to North Carolina, we had it serviced at a local Chrysler dealer. While there, we needed to order additional parts to fix a problem with the cruise control and turn signal switch. The parts would not be in before she left, so we decided to wait. Within the first few weeks being in NC, the battery went dead, and the Buick needed to be towed into this dealership. I called in with confidence and while the car was there I wanted them to fix the cruise control and turn signal switch. I already knew what the problem was and also sent them the work order from the other garage so they would see it was confirmed. Well long story short is they told my daughter the part alone would be $480.00 before the labor. I told my daughter to wait. I then called the Chrysler dealer, and they confirmed the part would be 190.00 and close to 2 hours for labor. Total repair bill $276.00. I am not sure what the deal was. I wanted to call the Garage to double check on the quote but my daughter asked twice to make sure what he said. Oh well, I can't go back.
