This shop is located along side the gas station at The Red Drum shopping center. Great shop to deal with. They perform proper repairs in a fair and timely manor. Although they do not do every kind of repair, they are more than willing to refer customers to other quality shops that specialize in those types of work. Very fair labor and parts rates, treat customers with respect (managed by a woman), honest, and knowledgable.

I helped my brother and his girlfriend move down to Buxton. I pulled a 17 foot trailer full of their stuff down. On the way, I smelled the transmission fluid getting hot. When we got down there, I took my truck to them to get the transmission fluid and filter changed and make sure that the bands had not come apart. They got right on it and told me that the fluid was burnt, but there was no material in the pan. They told me that it would be two hours to change the fluid, which is high, but I really didn't really have any other choice. They did seem to do good work, though. A few weeks later, my brother's girlfriend took her 2005 Toyota Four Runner in there to have the transmission fluid and filter changed. She was treated rudely and told that it would be $300 to have that done ($200 labor and $90 for the filter).....That is ridiculous! It seems that they know that they have tourists stuck and overcharge because of that.
