They tell me when I need something done, and more importantly, when I don't! When my heater went out, they offered to find a used one, since my car is pretty old. They had a little trouble getting something fixed one time, and they just redid it till it was right--and never overcharged or added any additional charges for the extra parts. I would recommend this shop over anyothers in Starkville.

I took my car in because I was having some break pad issues. Less than an hour after I dropped the car off a mechanic called to tell me what their exam showed as the problem and he'd already done some checking on some parts that it looked like needed replacing so he was able to tell me that the parts weren't available but that there was another option. I also knew I was in need of a couple new tires but I hadn't mentioned that when I brought the car in because I figured I'd just have to go to a tire store for that, but he brought up the tires and told me they could take care of that as well. Final bill was a bit more than I was expecting but prices for the individual services performed were all spelled out and reasonable (it was only in doing them all at once that it got pricey).

We took our Camry into Larry for a tune-up and tire rotation because it was running a little rough. He found a knot in one of the tires, said only two of them needed replacing, then suggested that I wait to do the tune-up because the tires might have been all that I was feeling. In other words, he didn't want to charge me for needless work. He doesn't take appointments, but had us in and out after a couple hours. And to top it off, he knew that my wife and I had walked from the shop to a cafe down the road to wait, so when he callled he offered to come pick us up. That's service.
