Odie is a legend. Not only does he fix anything for decidedly less than others (and also has the capacity for intuitively scaling services according to ability to pay), but he has an amazing ability in communicating what is wrong with a given car, and what the norm is. He can explain both specific, technical problems precisely for country boys (like me), as well as explaining broader questions of how systems work for Harvard grads (like me). Twice he has fixed problems on my current vehicle by simply touching it, proving he is no less than the God of my car. I do not know how common that particular experience is for others, but he is good. He does not mind explaining to customers how to fix their own problems, as I know he has wasted perfectly good shop hours talking to me and my son while he could have been charging us or someone else for his time. Unlike most mechanics, he uses his powers for good, rather than evil. In all seriousness, he is the best I have ever encountered, having lived on two continents and in a number of time zones.
