I have used Mid-West Auto for around four years and even after moving 15 miles away I return to Mid-West for repairs and maintenance. The shop handles every make and model including RVs. The technician who works on my truck has many years of GMC/Chevy/etc. experience. I have always been suspicious of mechanics and shops in the past but after repeated experiences with Mid-West Auto I bring the truck in and just leave the technician alone. I believe the techs and the owner have my and my truck's best interests in mind. I also have the tech. road test my truck and give it a good "eyeballing" while it's up in the air on the lift. When he sees something (so far minor things) I trust these folks and tell them to go ahead and replace a component that is showing wear, etc. So far, my truck has never broke down and sat on the roadside nor has it ever failed to start. I feel confident in recommending Mid-West Auto for repairs and/or maintenance. Here is a link to one of my blog posts.
