Larry has been around that part of town for many years doing automotive repair work. Several of his employees have been with him a long time, which I think says a lot about how Larry treats others. He is always very friendly and he really knows his stuff.

I have delt with them for many years. Recently I took my Chevy S10 to a dealer because it died and I had to have it towed. They were the closest. After they got it running (the battery cables were corroded), they said I needed new rear brakes which I declined to have done. A few weeks later I took it to LP's and had them look at front and rear. They said the front were getting a little thin but were ok. They said the rear brakes were in fine shape and would be for some time. They charged me $20 for checking them out. I figure the dealer would have charged m3 about $200 to replace them. The dealer was City Chevrolet.

In more than 20 years of taking cars to LP's we've had nothing but good experiences.

This is not the closest shop to me, but by far, they are the most honest mechanics I have come across, (that is important when you are a woman). I have always dealt with Bill, or Floyd, and both are friendly, honest, and explain things about the issue to me. They have worked on my Cadillac and my daughter's Cadillac, and are much more reasonable than other shops and the dealer. They contact me when the job is done, instead of me having to call them to ask. Always within a reasonable length of time, and a very reasonable price. Great shop!!

This is your old type of converted gas station with bunch of middle aged guys, over 50, who have been doing this for a very long time. There are few high tech equipment but in general good old fashion mechanics who know cars well. The are half the price of any other shop and better workmanship. When talking to the guys they don’t seem to be very friendly but I don’t want to have a friendly mechanic but a GOOD mechanic. All their repairs were perfect, on time and never bothered me again. The only thing about it is that they are closed on weekends or holidays so you do have to get a ride to work. Best mechanics ever.
