RPM Automotive is a new shop in this area owned and operated by two very experienced mechanics. I took my l997 Ford Ranger in for routine (54,000 mile) maintenance and a squeak problem with either the belt or one of the pulleys. The former they did well, and they thought they had solved the latter by having the alternator rebuilt by a competant person. After I left, I found the squeak problem still there. I brought the truck back the next day, and they determined it was the belt and that the tensioner and idler needed replacing. I bought the parts and they did the work for no cost. So far, the problem seems to be solved. I am very pleased with their attitude and williness to solve the problem and help with all my mechanical needs. They guaranteed their work and stood by their word. Because they have just opened this week (3 November 2003), they are unable to offer a lot of services that they hope to in the future. They want eventually to offer a rider vehicle, and also offer pick up and delivery services for people who work and cannot take the time to bring their vehicles in. I feel these two young men will give their customers their best. They do all types of mechancial work, air conditioning, wheel alighnments, computerized components included. I feel if they did run across something they did not know how to fix, they would say so and recommend someone compentent who could. As long as they are in business and I live in this area, they will have at least one steady customer. I very highly recommend them.
