Love this shop! It had been written up many months ago in a column in the Pioneer Press. They were recognized for providing good, friendly service at very reasonable prices. My visit there this morning confirmed what the article had said. Needing a repair this morning, I gave them a call. I explained my problem (side mirror broken off, hanging by 2 wires). They said if I needed a new one that they would try to find one from a junk yard, but asked if I could drive by so that they could look at it. When I arrived, one of the guys ran out and looked at---he said "no problem", just need a few minutes. I already had assessed that I had broken off two of the three screw mechanisms that normally hold the mirror on, yet he quickly found a way to attach the mirror. When he was finished (15- 20 minutes) he asked "$20 sound ok?". Sure did, knowing that this problem could have easily run me a couple of hundred at the dealer. I will return to this garage for future service needs!!

Very courtrous and receptive. Took the car in and willing to accomodate on timings. Also have a drop box to drop the keys/car off in the night so they can take it up first thing in the morning !

Tim runs a nice, little, old-fashioned friendly operation, and he was more than accomodating while trying to fix some tough problems unique to my 1989 Merkur Scorpio, using my obsolete, unobtainable parts. For routine things there is no better deal in town. Honest and fair to a fault. You also get friendly shop conversation and free coffee at the cafe next door (at least it has been free when I have always been there before the cafe officially opens at 11am. - No promises.
