A quick stories illustrate my admiration - First, I went in with a bad alternator. Instead of recommending a new one, the mechanic whacked the alternator with a hammer, and it worked great (aside from the occasional whack from me) for over two years. When it was finally time to replace the alternator, the shop had my old one rebuilt, which saved me half the cost of a new one. I buy cheap cars because I know they will always provide a great value when servicing them.

When I moved to a new neighborhood I had no idea where to take my van for small large maintance or major problems. I had some bad experiance with other auto mechanics previously. In fact once a mechanic at a well known shop said my windshield wipers were fine, when in fact my right wiper was missing. I started asking the neighbors where they took their cars. Out of 6 men/women 5 suggested Murphys. I now too suggest them to anyone who asks. They are the best!!
