I have been taking my vehicles to Joe even before he opened his shop. He's an honest guy who does good work, and the prices are very fair. When I have compared prices with my friends who have gone to the Honda or Toyota dealers for scheduled maintenance work... we'll, I'm still going to this place. It's hard to find a trustworthy shop. I live in the Twin Cities now and when returning to see family, I always schedule time for my routine maintenance at this shop.

I recently took my Grand Cherokee to Joe's Auto Care. I'd recently had good experiences with them working on my fiancé's Thunderbird. They treated her with respect and only did work that was necessary, sometimes not charging for labor for quick repairs. On Thursday, I spoke with Keith and asked him to replace my leaky exhaust manifold, and broken sway bar link. I also asked him to fix my malfunctioning parking brake, change the rear end lube, and install transmission cooler, in preperation for some long-distance towing. I had them do a coolant flush and oil change too. In the process of fixing my Jeep, they found that my rear brake pads were rusting to bits. The friction material disconnected from the backing plate on one of them and the rotors were too thin. They also found that my right rear axle was pretty worn. So now I have new rear brakes and a new right rear axle too. They didn't charge for labor on the axle and the brakes since they had it apart anyway to fix the parking brake. They even checked out my previously leaky t-case for free to make sure it wasn't still leaking. The guys at Joe's are quality people. Keith called me when he was done inspecting the car to let me know that my assessment of the needed repairs was on target and that some of the other things I'd asked him to do weren't necessary. He also called me as he discovered other things like the brake and axle issues and the reason for the parking brake problem. All of my work was completed by the next day. I highly recommend these guys to anyone in the Rochester, MN area.

Joe's was great! My wife is going to school in Rochester and I am 300+ miles away. She hates going into car repair places because she always feels she is "going to get taken." She walked into Joe's with a list of things I told her to get checked and they listened attentively, not condescending in any way towards her. They gave her a detailed assessment on what should be done. They got the work done in a timely manner, provided a shuttle service to/from school AND the SAME PERSON that worked on the car called her 2 days later to see how things had gone and if there were any questions or concerns. The price was very fair. I would never hesitate to take my next repair work to Joe's. Thanks Joe's Autocare!
