The head mechanic at the shop, name of Jesse was very competent and capable. He explained exactly what was wrong and how to fix. He even took me back into the shop area to show me how he determined the problem and explained the problem to me as well as what it would take to fix said problem. After service like this I am never going back to a dealership having not had a good experience at any one of three different dealerships with two different vehicles over a four year period. The good people at this shop can and will work on anything and everything. I have also had good luck at the Tires Plus shops in Apple Valley and Eagan but the one in Richfield is the best of the three.

Yesterday, I went in for an oil change. They found an oil leak, a broken spring, and a birds nest inside the rear of the body. They took me to the shop and showed me the broken spring and lead me to the bird sounds. I appreciate that they took me to the shop to show me the issue. Since I'm a woman, a lot of shops don't offer to show me the problem in the shop, I have to ask. Marvin (Manager) was working the desk yesterday. I called in advance to make sure a "walk-in" would be OK. He was friendly and easy to work with in a genuine way. I had to stay a couple of hours, so I saw him deal with other customer issues - two phone lines, walk-ins, and a lot of people getting estimates or picking up their vehicles. Even with the very aggressive, angry, or clueless folks, he remained patient, positive, and friendly. I've never worked with Marvin before. He said he'll be leaving soon to take over his family's business (not car repair.) I'm sorry to see him go. He's my favorite car guy to work with ever so far. Ryan (Manager) also works on the front end and has for a while. Though he really seems to know his stuff, his delivery is kind of fast, methodical, and robotic/apathetic at times. He's never lead me astray, but because there isn't a personal connection, at first, I felt really uncomfortable with him. I'm comfortable now, but I can't say I "like" him. I've been to this shop a couple of times for oil changes. I've also had the right and left bearings and assorted inspections and tune-ups and now, both front springs replaced. I'm happy to go there again.
