Although I have never actually had work done by this shop, I feel morally obligated to comment on their extreme honesty. I brought my car to them believing that it was leaking oil and they evaluated it and informed me that they could find no cause for leaking oil, that it was most likely residual from a previous problem that was repaired by another shop and then proceeded to clean up what of it they could without charging me anything at all. Next, I had them perform a trip safety check for me for a long road trip, and once again charged me nothing at all. We've since moved away from Plymouth, and I feel indebted to these mechanics, having never actually paid them anything.

The first time I went there was because I ran over something in the road and my car was making a horrible sound. They checked underneath and pulled off a piece of plastic, assured me it was fine to leave as is and would do so if it was his car. No charge and never have had a problem with it. The second time I brought it in was for brakes. The first shop I went to gave me an estimate of over $850 (said new calipers were needed). Plymouth Automotive said $325 (don't need new calipers). This was several months ago and my brakes are still doing great. I will only go to Plymouth Automotive from now on.
