The guy is some kind of saint and a genuine original. I've had work done there for less than half of what I was quoted elsewhere. They absolutely will not repeat not do you wrong. And if you happen to be in the shop at break time in the morning, you're in for a treat. No. Wait. I just realized what I may be doing by saying this. I want to be able to get in the next time I need service. (He's busy enough as it is) So...he's a complete crook. Total ripoff. Doesn't know a crankshaft from a spatula. You'll be lucky if your car makes it to the street. Seriously. Go elsewhere. Anywhere. Please.

Walt's has built up a loyal following. For one thing, they go out of their way to fix a problem right, at a reasonable cost. I had to have an engine replaced once. Walt went over the costs and risks of getting a new block vs. a used engine. When I decided on a used one, he had someone scour auctions to find one quickly. They have very good sources for parts. The many people that I know that go there always feel like they got a fair deal and excellent repair.
