A friend recommended Fred's for some work I needed done on my cars - a 1999 Mercedes and 1966 Mustang. I was a little hesitant using an old-fashioned grarage in the local mall parking lot instead of a flashy auto repair shop with all the latest computers, but was very plesantly surprised. I have had several problems with both cars and Bruce, the mechanic, compently fixed them and for a very reasonable price. Fred (the owner) called me and told me the options to repair each problem, like spot welding something when my window wouldn't open or ordering the expensive OEM part. They have come to help me when my cars died in parking lots and in my driveway. They have arranged, for a very reasonable charge, for my Mercedes to be towed to the nearest dealership (Minneapolis) when there was a problem that only a dealer could fix. I can honsetly say that they make me feel like they are friends helping me out rather than vendors. I think their rates are even lower than reasonable, always way less than I think they will be. I highly recommend them.
