Slim has told us when our old cars are no longer worth putting $ into. He's checked out cars we've thought about buying w/o charging. Seems to hire guys as nice as him. We have a saying in MN: Don't bring your car to a mechanic who is never busy. SLim is plenty busy.

All the employees at Slim's are kind and very knowlegeable about car repairs. Always feel good about the experience.

They are computer literate. They educate customers instead of acting superior. They gave away 25 min. of their time diagnosing a trouble for me. They call me when they have info instead of me having to guess when to call them. When I asked why my cruise wouldn't engage above 85 mph they Nissan was too politically correct.

Good, fast and completely trustworthy. I'd have no compunction about leaving a signed blank check when I dropped off the car. The owner is a good neighbor as well in that he provides a pair of scholarships to graduating HS seniors who are entering a mechanics training program.

Slim is so honest, sometimes you have to convince him to replace something rather than trying to save you some money and just fix it for a while.
