My Safari Van broke down on a lonely dirt road in the Upper Pinsula of Mi.and was towed to this gaurage. The Proprietor (Elijah Schabach)accurately diagnosed the problem(fuel pump),Ordered the part, which arived at 7 am.the following day. His daughter made arrangements for us to stay in a nice motel and squeezed me in to their buisy schedual. The staff was plesent, trustworthy and had me back on the road.I am home now and the new pump worked fine all the way home..

When my brakes had problems in Grand Marais, I thought I was in deep trouble. A volvo driver from Texas, I was 150 miles away from the nearest dealership. I might as well have had a sign saying, "Charge me as much as you want." My in-laws live in Grand Marais and said that they were happy with Fox River Automotive had done on their American car. We had no reasonable alternative so we brought the car in and hoped it wouldn't be hundreds of dollars. Fox River Automotive not only fixed it quicky, the repair was cheap ($30) and the people at the shop were teriffic.
