I had a GMC Sonoma with a manual transmission that one day started making some nasty whining noises. I check the tranny and found it had leaked out all of the oil. I could see the leak was on top of the transmission but didn't want to tackle the job so I went to the local Chevy dealer. They told me it was the rear seal and it would be over $600 to repair. I knew better so I told them not to fix it. They charged me $75 for the privilege of having them tell me the wrong diagnosis. Whimpy's was recommended to me and I took the truck there. They gave me the correct diagnosis, gasket around the shifting lever, and fixed it for less than $200. That included mostly pulling the transmission to get to the gasket. I'll never go to that dealer again for anything. Whimpy's gets A's in my book.

I was very satisfied with the repair of my transmission and the repair man's personality.
