Lonnie goes out of his way to accomodate his customers. He does the repairs based on your needs. If you want it done right, he will do it with the best parts available. If you want to fix it just to get by, he will find a way and keep the cost down. He has worked on the following makes of vehicles for me: Toyota, Oldsmobile, Honda and Ford. I would never hesitate to recommend him. I was referred to him by a State Farm Agent when I first moved to Houghton Lake area. The Roscommon Transit system provides bus service to the shop for anywhere in Roscommon County making it easy to pick up your vehicle when it is done.

I have a 1987 El Camino with a four barrel. It's an origonal 23K mile truck. Having tried another local repair shop with no satisfaction I sought out a recommendation on Cartalk.com. Thats where I found Lonnie, a man who cut his teeth on 80's era GM engines. He diagnosed the problem that the other guy in town totally missed. I'am very happy now to have a reliable shop and will use Lonnie again and have recommended him to the guys in the car club. regards, Tom
