I have been taking my cars to this establishment for approximately 15 years. The service has always been outstanding. Many others in the area have shared similar opinions with me.

They replaced my clutch in a timely manner. When I had problems with the clutch after the repair, they checked it out and bled the lines again (which resolved the problem). The people I spoke with had some esoteric knowledge of the quirks of vehicles. The gas station next door doubles as a secondary place to drop off, pick up, and pay for a vehicle, making the station effectively open 24 hours.

A friend recommended the mechanics at AE Standard. Her family has been taking their cars there for almost 20 years. She said they always treat her well and that they are reasonably priced. After my first experience with them, I agree! I had a 60,000 mile check done on my Honda. The service was excellent. Plus, they charged far less than the price my dealership quoted me. AE Standard will be my mechanic from now on.

Vehicle repairs have been always timely and repairs are done at the price given before the work is started. Have called with questions and always takes the time to answer. Have a great deal of confidence and would recommend any one to have their car worked on by A & E.

Overall experience has been great. I do trust what I am told and feel the repair costs have been fair.

I took my Toyota Corolla to these guys for its 60,000 mile maintenance this morning. They were up front with me, affordable, and fast. It was also a nice perk to have a Steak and Shake across the street to kill a little time while the repairs were being done. I was on my way about a 1/2 hour after breakfast. I'll definitely be back to AE for all my future repairs/maintenance.

I have been a client off and on for over 20 years. They consistently do things right. They have always been fair, honest, and timely in our interactions. I have now started my son and his used car off with these guys. Very good people, IMHO.

We've used A E Standard for almost 30 years. Their repair service is great--timely, honest, and successful repairs. Their gas pumps don't always function properly, but--once our cars are out of the warranty period--A E does 100% of our maintenance and repairs.

Steve Lee and this shop are perfect for us. My son's (in his first year of substitute teaching, imagine our budget?) car ruptured a brake line and wouldn't start from sitting while we worked to put together money for repairs. We are new to the area. I talked to Steve, even though I was extremely impressed with Steve, I was swayed by the tow truck driver to try a closer shop. Huge mistake! The other shop charged me 1/3 of the total cost that Steve's shop charged us for all the repairs just for a quote. All the other shop coud do was ask for more than 5 times as much as Steve's shops' total cost and only to fix only the brake pipes. When I called Steve after this, he was courteous, helpful, even tried to explain the other shop. (Although, I still think the other shop saw their boat payment in my son's car's repair.) Steve got the car on Saturday (they are only open Saturday morning). I had a call Saturday morning, with an assessment of the condition of the vehicle and plans to get the vehicle back into service. The car was done by 10:30 AM Monday morning. Their extended cashier hours made the entire ordeal more survivable. They rescued my son's car. I am so glad to find a place to help us stay on the road in the new locale. Thank you Steve!
