We have both a Dodge Colt Vista wagon (no condolences please) and an ancient Honda Accord (1982). One morning I got up and drove the Honda. Every time it had to idle at a stop it would stall. We had never tried the East Main Auto Repair, but had heard positive things about it from some female neighbors, so we thought we'd try it out. Lynn Baugh was helpful and courteous. He had no problem taking "drop-in" repairs, and called us within a few hours. Apparently a hose had come loose. He only charged us for the hours worth of labor, but did not try to make up some story which would require extra parts or labor. We got the car back the same day. The next time we had a problem it was with our Colt. When the bill was quite high, he took the time to explain exactly what had to be done, got the part ordered, and we took the car home the next day. Because of the first experience, we felt we could trust his judgement on this work, even though it cost more than originally we thought the job might cost [Maybe he was lulling us into a calm complacency? :>) ]. We will return to this shop as regularly as needed (which hopefully won't be often!).
