A PROBLEM YOU WILL LIKE. OWNING A GM CHEV SUB 3/4 TON WITH A LARGE ELECTRIC TRANS AND AN EXTENDED WARRANTY DO TO DESIGN FAULT. GM WOULD NOT OR COULD NOT STAND BEHIND THE PROBLEM THEY NEW EXISTED. PHIL WHO HAS REPAIRED FOR ME IN THE PAST NEW WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS AND ADVISED ME TO GO TO GM THEY KNOW OF THE PROBLEM AND THERE SHOULD BE KNOW COST TO ME FOR THE REPAIR--WRONG, WITH LETTER IN HAND I CALLED THE 1-800 NUMBER AND IT WAS DOWN HILL FROM THERE. I WAS TOLD THAT NO PROBLEM EXISTED, BUT TO BE NICE THEY WOULD WORK SOMETHING OUT TO MAKE ME HAPPY, THAT HAPPY WOULD HAVE COST ME MORE THEN THE REPAIR I HAD AT PHIL,S. SIX MTHS. LATER MY NEPHEW, SAME SAME ON HIS CHEV PICKUP. THE SAD PART OF THIS STORY IS I WORKED 30 YEARS FOR THIS COMPANY IN THE AFTER MARKET (SPO) DEALING WITH OUTSIDE SOURCES AND KNEW WE HAVE MANY PROBLEM REPAIRS, I WAS A WALKING SALESMAN FOR OUR COMPANY AND ITS PRODUCTS,BUT NOW? FORD HAS A BETTER IDEA, TRY TO MAKE THE COSTUMER HAPPY...
