I needed a new MUffler on my 95 Acclaim. I showed up at 8 a.m. - they were already quite busy at that time. They were very laid back - took the car, did not do a lot of chatting with me (I figure there wasn't must chatting to do - a muffler is pretty straightforward). The called a coupls of hrs later with a good quote and were done with the whole thing by 2 pm. It's a week later, the car is quiet. IT was a very simple and easy repair -- done in a frank and plain way.

They appear to primarily sell new tires, do brake work, alignments and some general automotive repair. I have been seeing them for over 20 years and they always take good care of me. They are willing to help me when some of my own repair attempts screw up. They are ALWAYS friendly and will not charge me if they cannot fix the problem. They will even refer me to local shops to help me get a good deal on parts for work that I am doing on my own. They are also flexible with regard to giving me prices that are below their normal selling price (I buy and sell cars for a sideline) for many auto repairs and especially tires. From my experience they do not do work that requires reading scanning codes for intricate problems, etc. They take time to do an excellent tuneup. They specialize in things like replacing heater cores, etc where high tech knowledge for a specific make is not required. I am always impressed by the fact that they take a lot of time listening to you about what you need to have done. Their overall delivery of service ALWAYS appears to be on a high ethical level. Also very friendly and will chat with you about what is happening in the community, weather, yourself or what is going on in their lives, etc. Their mechanics appear to be especially happy with the owner, Chris. EASY people to deal with!

These guys are good honest hard working people, they're happy to work on your car, and they will make you happy. My recent experience is a just set of tires, they know what they're selling, and they were happy to work with getting the precise tires that I wanted (picked out from TireRack.com) and matched tirerack's price. They have and know how to use their quality Hunter road force tire balancing machine. They'll do nitrogen fill if you're into that. The tires are correctly balanced and smooooth. I definitely recommend them if you need tires or other general work.
