I've always been very satisfied when I've had my truck serviced at Blair's. I recommend them to all the people I work with and have never heard a complaint. Most people comment on how honest they are and that they had assumed (from prior experiance with other shops) that the work would cost alot more. Blair's only fixes what needs to be done and does not try to throw in all the extra stuff. I took my truck in three times to get new brakes. The first two times they inspected and adjusted the brakes, and the bill was $18. For $36 I have driven an additional 30,000 + miles. When they finally put brakes on they only did the fronts because I did'nt need the rears. Every time I been in to the shop I told them to go ahead and put on what ever needs to be done. They could have put new breaks on each time (I drive alot of miles) but they only did what was required. I have had other more costly repairs done at Blair's but due to their honesty on the small stuff, and other peoples good experiences, I never feel like I've been taken advantage of. Several women that I've sent there have commented that they were very pleased with the service.

Blair's didn't charge me for the second service visit when I came back because of my engine computer malfunction. Mike Blair did what he could for me. He reset the computer, and advised me to go to the Toyota dealer in Lansing or Ann Arbor, as he wasn't able to help me further without the 2002 computer-reader equipment. This was expected soon, but wouldn't arrive in time to help resolve my issue.

I first went here because of "Mechanic's Files". They re-did the brakes on my van for a hundred dollars less than the dealer. Subsequent visits (about once a year) have been satisfactory. I haven't challenged this shop, but I have not been disappointed.
