All the guys at this particular Firestone are friendly and helpful. They are always honest about what needs to be done to your car, and don't do unneccessary repairs. I'm biased, but only because I've been taking my car to them for so long. I don't hesitate to recommend them to anyone I know who is looking for a good, reasonable repair. They're great!

I have been going to Firestone on Huron for probably 20 years, but I met the current manager Jerry Weaver, when he was still at Firestone at Arborland. He's terrific, always friendly and helpful. I went there because it's close to home and work, and maintenance work is usually cheap if you have a coupon or use AutoVantage. I go back because I trust dealing with Jerry (and with Dave before him). For routine stuff, brakes, tires, belts, tune-ups, etc., they are fine. For complicated or specialized work, I go elsewhere, but they usually tell me when something is beyond their range of competency.

The staff at this Firestone location are genuine, helpful, and honest. They don't try to get me to have unnecessary repairs done, and their prices for things that do need to be done are reasonable. Also, the people at the front desk remembered me by first name after only a couple of visits. I highly recommend their services.

Jerry, Marco and crew are very responsive. They provide good information and do work at a reasonable cost. They're a pleasure to do business with. I recommend them without reservation.

Jerry and his crew find what you need, and what you don't need, tell you, fix it, and stand by it. Warranty is 6 mo/6,000 miles on most work. I've been with Jerry for over 20 years and never found fault with his and their work. Fair and honest.

My brakes were squeaking on my Toyota Van. They tested the Van and said brakes OK but need lube on calipers which they did and it worked. They could have recommended a brake repair. Also, I asked for spark plug replacement on Chevrolet with 50,000 miles driven. They said "not needed", so saved me money. They seem to be very honest.

The crew always takes the time to explain their understanding of the problem - if they feel they can't fix it as well or as inexpensively as another shop - they tell the customer. Best experience was with a Mazda van in which heater wasn't working - they suggested going back to dealer - found it was a manufacturer recall - over $500 worth of work done free because of their rec. And the nicest guys in town.

Very bad experience. I had my car towed there because it was all that was open on Saturday afternoon, and I'm not from Ann Arbor. They quoted me a wildly inflated price, and only backed down after I called a Ford dealership and got a quote for the needed part for 25% (!!) of what Firestone originally quoted. Perhaps worse, it was towed to them because it overheated, and their $30 diagnostic test failed to discover that the head was cracked! Some diagnosis. Would NEVER go there again, and, in fact, I ultimately had my car towed to another shop.
