I love Jim Adams. They're a great little shop with honest mechanic and reasonable prices. We always try to take our car there when we need repairs.

Dave McClelland, the owner, has taken care of my cars for at least the last twenty years. He is extremely knowledgable and an ASE Master Technician as is Kris Kolum the other mechanic. Dave does the paperwork for extended waranties and when a repair is covered by OEM tells you up front and if necessary has battled the dealer a couple of times for me.

Parts and repair prices are way to high. Hourly labor is on par with other shops, but they must be a lot slower than everyone else. Took my car there to address an overheating issue and requested a pressure test. (I had changed the thermostat already) After the work was done the car started overheating again. Brought it back and they found that the radiator was plugged. IMHO, this should have been caught the first time but they wanted to charge me again for another coolant flush with a radiator replacement. I was quoted over $700 to replace the radiator over the phone. Declined the repair. When picking up the vehicle I got a written quote for the same repair. for $540. Wha? Less money but given I was told by another shop (Earl's Garage) that they would do the same job for $386, I still declined and took it to Earl's. They also charged me $57 for antifreeze. Earl's charged me only $21.
