I found Dan Larson only three months before I left Seattle, WA. I'd been going to another Volvo repair shop that I had had some questionable work from. Dan is the best. I am a female in my early thirties and I felt like he was extremely honest and really walked me through the repairs. He is a Volvo trained mechanic with over 20 years experience -- plus he's a drummer and has an excellent Led Zeppelin poster up in his shop. Really though he is reliable & honest -- he called me the day after he fixed my car to see if it was running better. I only wish I had found him earlier than I did. His prices are fair but not cheap -- meaning he will give you the full options of how to fix it and let you decide how much you want fixed. He'd rather do good work than undercharge. GO TO DAN!

After taking My Car too two other Volvo shops, That either did only very little of which I wanted or installed the wrong part alltogther. None of them fixed the problem. Thank God for the Internet and finding Larson's Volvo Repair. Not only does the owner let you in to show you exactly what is wrong and the parts that were replaiced, But he also takes as much time as needed to explain to the customer what needs to be done. I only wish that I had found Dan Larson 15 years ago when I broke away from the High priced dealer. From now on all my friends with Volvo's are going to Larsons Volvo Repair. I could write a book about how pleased I am with the work Dan did on our 91 740GL station wagon, but I'd just end up rambling. So, to keep it short, we've found our mechanic. We'll be taking the 850 sedan into him, and I have absolutely no doubt that we'll be every bit as ecstatic about the results of that work.

Dan is the best. Honest, knows his stuff, cares about his customers and his work. I've been to many other Volvo shops and Dan's my first choice.

I was a customer of Dan's from the day he set up shop. When he took a hiatus, I tried a number of other shops, and I'd gone to a few before Dan. Now that I've moved to California, I miss Dan more than my doctor, my dentist, or even my plumber. He's compentent, humane and a good guy all around. Definitely the best Volvo service in Seattle.

Found Dan through cartalk site with only a few recommendations. He proved to be all that said about him in the reviews; I am impressed.
