My introduction to JLC was through a recommendation of a friend. Our 626 was making clunking noises going around corners. We had just spent $1200.00 at a dealer (new half-shafts both sides) to fix this problem, only to find it was still there. Jerry took a short ride with me to listen, and promptly announced, "I know what that is, loose suspension bolts." He had them tightened in ten minutes, and told us he would charge us next time we came in. He has been our only mechanic since then. The 626 currently has 235,000 miles on it, and still runs great. There have been several instances where Jerry lets us know cheaper alternatives or helps us prioritize repairs when money is short. Like one of the other commenters, I am looking for another Mazda, just so we can keep Jerry as a mechanic.
