I have had a Chevy Nova that Jim Gorman has worked on ever since I have owned it. I heard about him through my mother who took her car to him because she could trust that he was always be straight foward with her. Jim used to race Chevy's and other such car's extensively. He loves working on cars and whenever I take my car he talks my ear off for about half an hour explaining the problems to me, why its happening, what needs to be down. He is straight up with me, telling if repairs are abosulutely necessary or if they can be held off for a while. My biggest complaint is that his shop is always full. Its sometime hard to get your car in for a repair. Otherwise, i have never questioned his intergrity or his ability fix the problems I may have had w/ my Nova. I would recommend him to anyone.

The mechanic there, Ross Gorman, is the best. He fixed my car up, and found things that were put in there over 10 years ago that weren't supposed to be in there. Ford parts in a Chevy. Anyway, he's a cool guy and it's a family business. No bull, just honest work. I highly recommend them.

These two brothers are life savers. They love fixing cards and helping people out. They spent two hours on my car, cleaning out various parts and talking me out of $600 worth of work antoher shop wanted to charge me. After all that they didn't even charge me a dime. I tell you I would trust these guys with anything they say and they know cars like you won't believe it. I don't live near the shop either, but I won't take my car anywhere else.

The wife and I have been going to Gorman's since 1980 and Jim has worked on all of our cars and trucks over the years. The only one that Jim won't work on but his brother will is our 1967 Sprite. I have never had a bad experience with this shop.

They can tell what's wrong with your vehicle in about two minutes and fix it at a reasonable price.

They are the best! Their motivation is not greed--they simply want to do a good job. What a gift to find an honest mechanic like Jim. Will never take my cars anywhere else.

I have never used this shop. Why the review? I walked in this week to see about having work done on my F-150. I have never seen such a dirty shop. The floors hadn't been swept in a very long time. I turned around a walked out. I wouldn't consider leaving my truck with them.
