The first time I took my car to them it only took them fifteen minutes to fix, and they only charged for fifteen minutes. I've never heard of a mechanic doing that. The second two times, they couldn't locate the problem after nearly a week of having the car (3 days and 2 days - 2 different problems). Bringing it to Toyota dealership had both problems found in one day, but at a much higher price. For simple problems, I'd definintely recommend Eric's. The staff is really friendly and easy going.

These guys are great. They've been fixing my cars, my wife's cars, my mom's car, my daughter's cars and those of other friends for 10 years. In the rare case where they can't figure something out they explain it and send me to someone who can. They've worked on a Datsun, a Honda, a Chrysler, an Oldsmobile, a Volvo and 2 Toyotas (including an engine replacement that came out like new). I send all my friends there, and they're all satisfied. A+++

Eric and his crew are GREAT! I have refered many of my friends and family to his shop. My girlfriends and I feel respected and well taken care of whenever we need his help. He is always our first choice. If he can't fix a problem, which is rare, then he recommends the right person for the job. He is one great find, as a mechanic!

Eric's a brilliant guy. Totally felt comfortable with the rest of his staff as well. I would recommend this guy to anyone.

I really enjoyed the experience (as much as you can, I suppose) when I brought my car in to get the brakes replaced. They came in way under the dealership price for brake replacement, so that was selling point 1. But I also got the feeling that Eric just liked working on cars, so he wasn't out to make a ton of money or anything.

Eric (and friends) are simply great. Eric has worked on our cars (wife and self) for over 20 years. Friendly, fun, honest.

Dear Car Talk Guys: My wife Gail and I have been taking our cars to Eric's Garage for 23+ years. He has NEVER failed to fix the car problems, even with our old clunker Honda and an even older Volvo. (Sorry- I forgot to list the Volvo above.) He is perfectly honest; has a clean, orderly shop; hires only certified mechanics; his estimates are always accurate; and his work is always timely and 100% reliable. He kept the old '71 Volvo running for 200,000+ miles, and I was still able to sell it for $500.00, thanks to Eric's superb mechanical skills! Plus, his daughter acts in Shakespeare plays! What a guy!

The owner Eric seems like the type of guy who loves cars, enjoys working on them and would be fun to sit around with and shoot the breeze over cold beer. He treated me well and offered to give me some parts at his cost for some repairs that I can take care of on my own. I definitely recommend giving this shop a try!

Since my Ford Focus passed the 100,000 mile mark it has been needing regular repairs and I've been taking it to Eric and I've been very happy with the work the garage has done. I gave the car to my son six months ago and recently, when he was out of town, I had occasion to move the car and noticed an engine noise which hadn't previously been there. I took the car down to Eric's and he called me a few hours later to say that the water pump was failing. He then told me that they had put in a new one and it wouldn't cost anything because they had changed the timing belt and water pump a little over a year previously and he would consider it a warranty repair.
