I've been a customer of Terry's since they first opened sometime in the 1970's. I have always been treated well - no different than they treat men. If something hasn't been done correctly (very rare) it has been fixed immediately. They now have a body repair shop too, so all your needs can be met at their shops. Tod, general manager is great to work with and help with any worries you might have.

Happy, high-mileage customers at Terry's since 2000. Terry's is a large shop, with many specialized mechanics. Everyone seems to love working there, and there isn't much employee turnover. They know us well and treat us as friends. They make excellent and honest recommendations. They pace their work with an appointment system. They take weekends off, which helps them keep their good employees happy. They keep their commitments. They are always busy, but they have endless patience with our questions. On the rare occasions when a repair wasn't right the first time, they apologized, explained, and made it right -- at their own expense -- as soon as humanly possible. They're on bus lines, and they also provide door-to-door shuttle service. Rates are competitive with other independent garages. Except for weekend emergencies, we don't know why anyone in Olympia would go anywhere else.

Been a customer at Terry's for 20+ years. They have always been very fair and helpful with my ELDERLY (old as dirt) parents, and their Delta 88 Olds-(parts and body stuff hard to come by). I have owned 5 cars in my life- Dodge Dart,Mazda Protege, Chevy Luv, Daihatsu and Toyota Prius. They consistantly charge about 1/2 of dealer prices for repair and maintainance and are just really nice guys to deal with.

The service advisors in this shop with whom I've dealt [Terry, Todd, Kyle, Dave & Brian] are all honest and reliable guys. They really do a quality job and can be trusted. I've taken both our vehicles there numerous times over the last ten years, and have always been treated fairly. Their hourly rate is high, but they deliver quality work. Their parking space for customers is miserable and way too small, though. I guess it's a testimony to the loyalty of their customers that they have plenty of return business, in spite of the lousy parking.

I can't say enough good things about the crew at Terry's. They've kept my ol' clunker running for years. I've never felt intimidated or ripped off. The staff are knowledgable and patient and they give me rides to and from the shop.

Best automotive shop on the planet. Fair, honest, reliable. Will tell you when you should go somewhere else to have work done less expensively. Customer for more than 20 years and have always been satisfied.
