Dan has excellent knowledge of the Fiat Spider and can solve any problem you may have. He specializes in foreign cars but I have first hand knowledge of his competence in Fiat only and second hand in Jaguar.

Dan (owner) is friendly and knows his stuff. Richard (employee of many years) does better with cars than people, but still a kick to talk to. Dan always shows off the spent parts when he is done and explains what got replaced and why. Since IAR (Import Auto Repair) is a small independant, Dan does not always have needed parts on hand. He lets you know when and what he has to order plus IAR's time estimates are good. Plan to have some other place to wait. IAR's waiting area is chilly and not well appointed. There are two restaurants in the area and a bowling ally. (Do NOT go to the bar across the street). Place is hard to find -- look north and east of the office supply store.

My van overheated and I thought I blew a gasket. Dan was very honest and told me it was fine and was just a small part that needed to be replaced. He also took the trouble to find the root problem, which was a blown fuse.

They are very honest and reasonably priced. I have had them do work on a 1990 Prelude, a 1984 Prelude, and a 2003 Civic, all with excellent results.

Dan & Richard are both top notch ! They've worked on my Jags for over 10 years. I've never had to go back to have anything "Re-fixed". No complaints in all their years of service & help. -Rj
