If you have lived in Everett long, you know how hard it is to find a good mechanic in this area. One that knows what he is doing, fixing things right the first time and charging a fair price for quality work. Well, if you own a Honda or Acura, you are in luck! I don't mean to make this sound like an ad, but I really am elated to have finally found a mechanic that I can trust. Part of me wants to try and keep it a secret because if I tell everyone, the shop will be too busy when I need them, but I figure that fellow Car Talk listeners deserve to know. I wish someone had been kind enough to send me their way earlier! Instead, I had to find them on my own, and I wasted a lot of time and money in the process. If your experience with Accurate Automotive doesn't meet the expectations you rightfully should have after reading this, come back here and tell me. So far, my dealings with Steve and his professional staff have left me with one less worry in this world... WHERE TO FIND A GOOD MECHANIC !!!

I first took my Honda Civic to Accurate Automotive in 1997 and was impressed with the friendliness and knowledge of Steve and the crew. They are professional and courteous. I have taken my Honda there for the last 7 years for timing belt replacement, clutch replacement, wheel bearing replacement, ignition switch problems and an engine rebuild. They charged a fair price and did great work.

I trust them with my car, my wallet and my safety. I'll only buy a model car that they will work on. Many times I have observed that they treat every customer equally well, with no differences for race, color, creed or sex. As a woman I'm grateful to have things explained to me but not be talked down to during the exchange. I recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone with a Honda or Acura in the Everett Washington area.

I've been taking my Honda to Steve and Martin for close to 15 years, my daughter's Honda, too. The cost is reasonable as far as I'm concerned - I wouldn't go any place else, regardless of the cost. I don't know how they treat men but they treat women very well - explaining the problems and options, never talking down. They're just great.

I've been taking my car to this shop for about 4 years now, and they've been a pleasure to do business with. They've even called me when they overcharged my credit card by accident, and promptly contacted Visa to fix the problem.

Based on the recommendations of other Car Talk folks, I took my Honda CR-V in for resolution of a rattle that had developed in the back. Steve called me to tell me that he'd found that the muffler bracket had been bent somehow so the muffler was causing the noise. He bent it back for me. When I picked up the car, I was expecting to pay at least an hour's worth of time for him to investigate & resolve the issue, but it was NO CHARGE. Needless to say, Steve's shop treated me very well. I would highly recommend to others.
