Stories abound about this business, but my personal experience was when I took our Blazer in to have something checked and they told me I needed the belt tensioner replaced when it was practically brand new. Our family has had other unfortunate experiences here, just can't remember the details of all of the rest of them.

I have taken all of my cars here for the past 15 years and have been very satisfied. When my father was visiting from out of town and experienced car problems with his vehicle, they were able to fit him in and made the necessary repairs in a timely and cost effective way.

The best thing about Hockett and Olson is location - they are walking distance to town. Other than that... They replaced the transmission on our Mazda and it never shifted easily again. We asked them about this and they said that they did not notice a problem. They 'found' problems with our Honda that did not exist when we later took it to the mechanic we use now. I would not go back there.
