Donny is probably one of the most honest people I know, and certainly the most honest car mechanic. A few years ago, I was looking around for a car and test drove a Toyota Tercel he had for sale that was marked as $850. After another week of looking around, I went back to buy the car. Donny had done some work to it, replacing the spark plugs and putting four brand new tires on it, and bringing the price up to $1050. BUT...when I went to write the check to him, he asked, "How much did I say it was last week?" He charged me a flat $850. Since then, I've had all my work done by Donny. As a female, he treats me with utmost respect, as he would his young daughter (who can be found playing in and around the shop). He's the kind of guy I can trust to do exactly what needs to be done without "finding something else wrong" and jacking the bill up to some ridiculous amount. Last time I needed a repair, he told me it would be $200. But when I went to pick up the car, he had taken $50 off the price because "it went faster than I thought it would." Folks, it doesn't get much better.
