Rally Sport is an excellent garage. I first started bringing in my old VW Rabbit while I was in college. Salty was the proprietor at that point and until June 1, 1997. Great guy, great sense of humor and a fantastic mechanic. He was the head mechanic for the VW Rally team before they lost their funding and were disbanded. Absolutely an expert in the field of german motors. When the rabbit finally bit the dust, I shopped only for a used car that Salty could work on. I bought a 1988 BMW325ix and have since then funded Salty's retirement with my repair bills.hahahah I left Vermont last summer, and after one bad experience with a mechanic in Boston, I returned to VT any time I needed repairs. It's sad to see the guy go, but he has sold his business to this guy Ken who has spent the last 8 years or so working on British cars and before that was one of Salty's mechanics on the VW Rally team. Ken is top of the line. I know live in Vermont again, and as a result of avoiding a deer in the road, I wrecked my beemer a few weeks ago. Ken salvaged a mangaled piece of uninsured machinery that saved my life and did so at an extremely reasonable price. I love the guy. He has shuffled me to the front of the line countless tiems and the other bonus is he will work on my other car, a 1970 Triumph Spitfire. Both these guys and the entire RallySport operation has been nothing but good to me and I really do recommend a trip from anywhere if you have a german car that needs help.
