What is important to me may not be what you think is important. This is a very busy shop. You may have to wait longer than if you took it to a dealership. But if you do take your mb to a dealership, you will find it hideously expensive. If you have an older mb, you can actually TRUST the mechanic named Jay. The coolthing about talking to Jay is that he explains things your car needs. He has been working on older mb's for decades. He will try to save you labor costs by suggesting work that will probably need to be done while he already has your car apart and easing the labor costs you pay. He works closely with the service writer, Karen, who can probably tear your car apart and put it back together while calling out the part numbers as she goes. She KNOWS her stuff, and she KNOWS mb's. I would absolutely recommend this place especially if your mb is older. I am not a wealthy mb owner, so I need to scrounge for parts online. Sometimes I can beat their price, and sometimes not. If you DO supply your own parts, the shop wont guarantee the labor to put your sourced parts on your car. I think this is fair. Karen can get you the exact part number you need if you decide to take the chance on getting your own parts. She is also willing to tell you which aftermarket or rebuilt part suppliers to use or to avoid. You wont ever get that option at a dealership. MB parts are expensive, but still, I really like my car alot, and so I take it to Larry's Import Center for the complicated stuff that requires gages and most anything electric.
