  • Del's is awesome! My office is 45 miles from where I live and my usual, so so mechanic. On my way to work last week my water pump went out just as I was pulling in to park. I had no idea how I would get my vehicle to my mechanic without ruining the engine or paying a fortune in towing so I was left with trying to find a mechanic in unfamiliar territory. I quickly checked the Mechanic Files only to be disappointed by unsatisfactory reviews for all the shops nearby. On a whim I called Del's; mostly because they were 3/4 of a mile from my office. I called and described my problem and Chris recommended limping the car over and he would take a look at it. Upon my arrival I found a clean, neat organized office and a friendly face, Chris, welcoming me. After describing the problem for the record I asked Chris if he would be able to complete the work in a day, it was already 10:00 am, and he assured me he would do his best. As I turned to call Enterprise to pick me up for a rental Chris said he could give me a ride back to the office and that he would again do his best to get the work done that day. After a brief friendly drive back to the office I set back to work. About 45 minutes later I received a call from Chris that indeed I needed a new water pump and he quoted me an estimate a couple hundreds of dollars less than me or my colleagues thought it would be most of whom are fairly mechanically inclined and knowledgeable. I asked Chris to go ahead and do the work, and he said he would let me know how it was going. Throughout the day I received updates from Chris, and when the work was complete at the end of the day he offered to pick me up. I declined and received a ride from a co-worker who dropped me off on his way home. When I picked my vehicle up, Chris went over all the work that was completed, offered me to enroll in their rewards program where I can earn points for each dollar spent towards coupons for future work, and asked if I had any questions or concerns. When I got into my vehicle I found a small Christmas card with attached snow flake and candy cane on my steering column thanking me for using Del's. Professional, courteous, sincere service at an absolutely reasonable price. If you happen to breakdown on Interstate 95 in Stafford Virginia do not hesitate to call Del's. Despite living 45 miles away I will ONLY use Del's!!
