Very pleasant but diagnostic costs seemed high. But...they found and fixed the problem

I've been using Cofer auto for over 15 years. The outstanding service I received under the previous owner (Calvin)hasn't changed since Tommy took over. They are uniformly competent and friendly. Most of the mechanics have been there for quite some time and seem to be very experienced, and the quality of the repairs is excellent. They do work on my cars, both of my daughters cars, and I also bring my company's fleet vehicles to them. I haven't had a single incident of an improper repair or something left undone, as opposed to twice having incomplete or shoddy repairs done by dealers recently. I frankly don't trust any other shop to work on my cars.

I've been using this shop for over 20 years and have found them completely trustworthy. Recently we had a work truck rejected for inspection at a Firestone shop for a ball joint. Not trusting them, I took it to Cofer Auto and told them what happened. They inspected it and verified there was no problem with the ball joints and passed it. They also were upset by the Firestone event and commented that these things are why customers don't trust repair shops. I admire that they didn't pile on Firestone but were just unhappy with the event. That is a hallmark of professionalism. Cofer Auto provides superb service and quickly corrects any problems. I won't go anywhere else.
