On 04/3/13 I had paid $330 to have my spark plugs changed as well as an oil change. Recently, I felt that my engine seemed to be driving roughly, so I had my parents’ mechanic in Roanoke, Va look at my truck. He discovered that only 4 of my spark plugs had been changed (they were shiny and new looking) and the ones on the other side were still the old, factory installed spark plugs. I suspect that my oil change was not done either, since the “need oil change soon” indicator continued to come on even after the supposed oil change. When I contacted Ford about this, the Service Manager Ribeiro basically said that he had no reason to believe tech did not change all of the plugs and that he may have "forgot" to reset the oil sensor. He offered a cursory service credit for the next time I bring my truck in. I do not trust the shop enough to take my vehicle there again. If a tech does not do the work, they will have your money and also not believe the customer even in light of evidence (i.e., the factory spark plugs that were never changed in my truck).
