It's just nice to know that I can trust my car(s) to Leo and his crew, Tim and Tommy. note: there is no public transportation in this area. But if there were, this shop would be near it.

I owned a Daewoo that developed transmission problems. GM had stopped selling parts for it and no one would work on it. The GM dealership in Floyd sent me to General Truck and Auto, and Leo kept checking for parts availability over the course of almost two years (and let me leave the car in his lot). One day he called me to say he would finally be able to fix it. I will always be grateful for his persistence and generosity. Since then, every vehicle I have owned has gone to him for routine maintenance and any other repairs it needed. I have recommended him to everyone I know. My daughter took her car in for a repair, and almost a year later, it developed a similar problem. She took it back to him, expecting to have to pay again to have it fixed. Leo said the repair would be free because the parts were still in warranty. He didn't charge her for the labor though he certainly could have. I suppose there are other honest mechanics in the world but I've never met anyone like Leo and his son Joe, and I pray they never close up. The only reason I didn't give them a five-star rating on customer convenience is that they're close. Most Wednesdays and Fridays. You just have to know that and plan your own schedule accordingly. I'll trade that level of inconvenience any day for their honesty.
