I had my transmission pan replace two years earlier by the west-end VW dealer. After two years, the "sealed system" was bone dry. They wanted $5200 to fix it. Given that they were the last ones to repair it I wasn't too keen on the idea of giving them another shot. I began my search and came upon Will Edwoods and his shop. He confirmed that I did need a new transmission (I didn't trust VW by this point to even be straight with me and wanted the second opinion) and he got it done for less than $4K (tax included) and gave me a better guarantee than VW (12 month unlimited miles). To anyone looking for transmission work, I highly recommend this shop.

I came to Glen Allen Transmission for the obvious reason. My transmission went out in my 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe back in 2008. I am from the west end of Richmond so the closet transmission shop to me is AAROW transmissions, I took my vehicle to AAROW and they gave me an outrages price for a rebuild on my truck. Needless to say I was not pleased. So I searched around and I came across Glen Allen Transmission and I am sure blessed that I did. The work Will and His son Tyler do are beyond perfection. I love the father son business atmosphere they truly treat you like your a part of the family. My wife's VW beetles transmission Went out in 2013 and within two days Will and his son had it back on the road for us. Honest dependable guys over there I wouldn't recommend any other transmission shop in Richmond but these guys.
