We've gone to this shop a couple times now, and have come to realize that Tom and his outfit know what they are doing - and they do it well. I recently took in a vehicle that had what turned out to be a very minor problem, and they were able to fix it in a matter of minutes without charge (no parts needed). A lot of other shops might have turned it into a big production, but not AutoStop. It's service like that that will keep me coming back as well as tell others about them.

They are very honest and straightforward and explain things very well. Even the one time they spent quite some time trying to fix a problem, and were not able to fix it, they charged me nothing, and happily referred me to a specialist shop. I have been very happy with their service on my cars. In my experience, it seems as though they are much more knowledgable on Japanese and American cars rather then European cars.

I have been using AutoStop for years now. And I have had some crazy mystery problems that they have wrestled with. Always honest and professional. One reason I like them is I know nothing about cars and they patiently explain everything, everytime. And I also appreciate that I always feel treated fairly as a woman, and my husband has equal respect for Tom and his crew.

They are unfailingly pleasant, competent, reliable and reasonable. I have an old car (1992) and they have kept it on the road. They never give me flim flam, and tell me if something doesn't need doing. I am a fan.

Tom and Joe helped my daughter have a positive experience with car repair at their shop in Arlington. They fixed the most pressing issue and let her know of repairs that may need to be addressed in the future. Thanks for their professionalism!!

Friendly and patient, they are willing to discuss the problem and explain fully to your satisfaction. As a female, I've never felt they've talked down to me. I wish they were a bit cheaper, but they aren't outrageous at all.

Been there twice with our SAAB and Toyota. Both times the shop did the only work necessary and in fact, when they found out an estimated amount of work was not necessary, they didn't do it. They are respectful and sent my wife a thank you card the first time we dropped off a card with them. With Autostop, I get the sense (and there is more work to come to confirm this) that they are about honesty and doing good solid work. That's all I want and they do a great job delivering.

First time to this shop, and I am pleased with it. They fixed the multiple problems, reasonable prices I guess (I did not shop around much). I would go there again.
